AP Hill Black powder?????
 

I was thinking of going to the Hill the second week of Black Powder for a couple day durring the week to hunt, I have not been there in a few years, What changes since Sept 11 do I need to know? Any tips on any areas? I have had decent success in TA-10 a few years ago...... Any advise?

here is the current routine.
1. you will get stopped at the main gate and will be required to show drivers lic.
2. then you will be routed to an inspection tent, where they will check your vehicle, so clean out all beer cans, guns, knifes, etc. after inspection, you will be given a vehicle pass to display in your windshield each time you visit the post.
3. now, assuming you have had a recent permit at the hill (last three years should do it) or proof of previous lic and hunters safety course, you will be free to head out to the game check station to get your post permit. helps a whole lot if you have a current hunting licence.
4. the window for permits is located on the right side of the building, just fill out the paperwork, pay your 35 bucks, get the current regulations and map of the post, and have a great time while you were hunting there. i was there on saturday, lots of blackpowder hunters, not sure how they did, i had to leave early to go to work. (i got skunked) hope this helps a little.
