HOT WEATHER & FULL MOON
(Pope County, Northwest AR) What effects is the hot weather and full moon going to do for this gun season. I believe that we are going to have a full moon opening week. It really had an effect on bow season for me anyway. Just looking for some input. And is it ever going to get cold!

RE: HOT WEATHER & FULL MOON
After that front went through Saturday it felt dang good outside...and the deer knew it, they moved around alot the past few days, but it' s supposed to be 80' s by the end of the week before another cold front comes through...
Hopefully soon, cold weather will stick around...
If it does stay hot, the deer will probably move around most at night, not good for the hunters, and also with the full moon, they' ll probably move closer to dark...
Get on a trail at first light and last light, around a bedding area and you should have some luck...
BTW, I' m in Pope County, do I know you? Send me a private message...

RE: HOT WEATHER & FULL MOON
Of all people, it is my Bro-in-law! Yah, I guess he just has a little spare time at work watching all those big buck at the plant walk by. Mike, had a shot on a 4 point sunday morning, 10 yards, it had the weirdest rack i have ever seen. It looked like it was actually going to be an elk instead of a deer. Its spikes pointed backwards a litte, and his forks kind of went out and up. Really wierd. Did you get your buck yet? Welcome to the board by the way.
