only so hunters can throw away money at the system... how many succesfull black bear hunts do you think there will actually be? If you want to shoot a bear go up to NC or VA and kill a world class one all within a half days drive. not a stressed black bear population.

There are plenty of Bears in certain County's here in FL

A lot in Clay, Baker,and Columbia for sure. I don't have them in my club. I wouldn't waste money on it anyway. Season is a joke. I'll stick to deer,hogs, and turkey for now.

I recently read that FL courts overthrew a challenge to opening a bear season. Cool and congrats to FL!

I've got a brother who lives around Tallahassee. This might be another option, A turkey-bear-fishing spring trip would be fun. Feather, Fur and Fins!
