Just got stationed to Fort Myer and am looking for some archery oppurtunities within a reasonable distance of Arlington, Va. I am aware of Quantico and Belvoir but was just wondering if I was missing any other public options available in the area.
Thanks ahead of time for the help!

Good luck and welcome to Va. I live in Centreville and hunt Belvoir and Quantico on a regular basis.

Belvoir and Quantico are by far your best bets. If you're adventurous, drive around NoVA a bit. There are small and mid-sized pockets of woods that hold deer literally everywhere. Urban Archery is a required skill set up here. Several Monsters are taken every year smack dab in the middle of two neighborhoods that have a 25-100+ acre woodlot in between them. IMO, that is where it's at up here. If you learn the woods of Belvoir and Quantico you WILL be successful.
