St. Joe
 

Potential bad news for those of you that hunt St. Joe paper company lands in north Florida. I have been told the Morman Church has purchased around 385,000 +- acres of land from St. Joe. The church has several large cattle ranches in south Florida already. They grow the cattle and ship the butcher steers/heifers to feed lots in Oklahoma where they are fed out and processed to be used as a feed the hungry world wide organization. The plan I have heard is to clear cut the timberlands and make pastures out of them. I don't know what their view of hunting is, but I would think the pastures would be off limits for hunting.
