it started super heavy friday before last where we were, i took a nice 8 pointer. It was still going pretty well this past weekend, my buddy saw about 6 bucks running does.

No rut here either in NW Va. I did find one scrape finally the other day. I have only seen one buck while out hunting on my land in about 10 trips (a spike), typically I'll see 10-15 different bucks during November alone. I'll still get after em till the end, but I ain't losing no sleep over it. LOL I got my freezer full of does from WV so horn hunting now. |
