When I lived in Titusville we hunted Citrus every year on every hunt we could draw, archery, Mzl, modern gun. We would camp at the primitive campground, Holder Mine or stay at the Inverness Motel if it was cold. I hunted that area every year from 1983 till I moved to Tennessee in 1998. We hunted the south end near the rock quarry, right on the edges of the quarry, during archery. For gun/Mzl take route 581 south, look hard at the area between trail 12 and trail 14. If I found myself air dropped in Inverness today, I'd be hunting the edges of the planted pines and hardwoods in the block bordered by 581, Trails 12 & 14 and Trail 15 on the west.
