Need help looking for hogs any ideas
 

I have been hunting this food plot that has been getting messed up by at least two huge groups of hogs. I have been there dawn to dusk and dont even see them. I cant hunt during darkness any ideas would be greatfull.

You can probably find plans for a hog trap online somewhere.

most likely they are doing it at night.there is only one way to get them,other than with a light at night.
That is trap them.it is really easly to trap hogs.

thanks I hate hunting on Fort Polk we cant hunt at night nor can we use traps. I will figure out a way to get them. What about stalking them any ideas there

I have the same problem on Barksdale. If hogs are nocturnal they are hard to find unless you can use dogs, which i doubt you can on Polk. You could try tracking them from the spot they are tearing up.

nope cant use dogs down here on polk they dont like that. I followed one till the trackes just up and disappeared spent the whole weekend looking for him. With bow it is not that easy to to hunt them at night. I am thinking of following this dried up creak bed I found in the area it has some water in it. The food plot is huge and so are the wallows that the hugs leave.
