Quantico is open again!
 

Quantico is back open, but they're not opening the only area I know much about.

I had planned to hunt 9C today, but didn't since I've never been to that area. Went down this morning to take a look at that area to see if I should hunt there tomorrow and couldn’t actually find a way to get to there from inside the base.

Tomorrows west side areas are: 5B,5C,7A,7C,9C,13,17C

Anyone been into these areas and have any suggestions you’re willing to share? It looks like I should be able to get to 5B and 5C, but haven't scouted them before . I'm looking for deer for the freezer for now.

I've never hunted main side either, although I did the qualification for there two years ago. I drove there today to take a look near PA5. Found a recent scrape and a decent amount of sign, although only saw two deer. Drove to PA8 just to see where it's at. Didn't manage to find PA3. Also, didn't see a single acorn from this year.

Looks like I should have spent the summer hiking main side with my little girls :s4:

Saw over 30 turkey and a dozen deer, to include a wall-hanger. Looks like my own guess is about as good as I need.
