Hunt Club SE Va.
 

I have been stationed in Hampton Roads for 5 years, and recently retired. I have been hunting Langley for 3 years and recently started hunting Big Woods/ Chick for the last 2 years. I am looking for a hunting leade within 2-4 hours from Hamton Roads.

Anything within that time frame(driving). Responsible hunter and willing to put in the time in the hunt club to get things done.

Check Craigslist, I've seen a few posted there over the years. Also just google search it(Southeast VA hunt clubs or va hunt clubs) and you will find several hunt clubs that have websites that you can request information about membership from. I found about 6-8 in December doing that but I don't have the list here at work.

How have you liked Big Woods? Did you bow & bp hunt it or just shotgun season? Just curious, I have hunted it a few times and enjoyed it but the traffic has spiked lately it seems and I've heard from others it's sketchy some days(weekends).

Google search bent barrel hunt club. We are in sussex and dinwiddie counties. Most of our members are from the Hampton Roads area.

If you are into that whole deer with dogs thing, there are a few clubs around West Point. Duck hunting clubs are hard to find.

Thanks for the responses, been away from the computer for awhile. I'll definitely check out some of these places.

@New61375 I actually enjoyed BigWoods. Although I did most of my hunting on the State Forest side. I hunted bow. My co-worker got a nice 8pt there.
