My buddy heard the 2 shots in there Saturday so that must have been the deer. Small racked doesn't fit with what I have found in there though which is good. On the other hand only 42 deer... I guess I need to be ready for next year since there should be plenty of bucks.

went out for small game last weekend...no score...but seen a lotta fresh big buck tracks n found several fresh rubs and right behind the camp heard a couple deer blowin they were goin on for about an hour...its depressin not bein able to deer hunt...

Small game season showed a lot of hog sign but not many hogs...only 10 taken for the 5 weekend period...Talked to the guy at the check station a while n he told me some disturbin news...said that they have found 4 dead deer down by the river that died from blue tongue...well reckon I will hit green swamp west for small game n head back to GS for Turke...hopefully get somethin between the two
