I have gotten 2 very small cams that blend in well so I'm going to try them out. I just simply try not to put them right on a walking path or out in plain sight on the side of a tree. above eye height aiming down is usually what I do as most people are looking at the ground and bushes.

Ha! That's genius! Thanks for the tips.

I see you're a man of god. You and I know better than to steal someone else's property that they've worked for. I've had a camera stolen from me before and it wasn't even on public land, it was behind my house. Now I'm kinda reluctant to put anything out there even if it's locked up. I'm sure there's more guys like us hunting this place than bad. At least that's what I keep telling myself lol.

Awesome..sounds like you are in a HOT SPOT...where's your spot?? LOL didn't think so..I have another spot I want to hunt..it's all tacked up and waiting for me..now this one is slightly in the open..watching back end of 2 cypress domes over a palmetto / deer berry field. I will be using a 270 Remington 700 with see through sites for that hunt.

I have 2 more spots I need to check out..one is decent but only one skinny cypress tree for a stand..the other..I killed my first deer there..but a little on the slow side the past couple years...

Woods..I see ya got 2 hogs and big ones..got some questions...

What to you do with the meat? please go into detail....I let the hogs walk after my last one was full of disease..plus they are in my deer spot..don't want to mess that up.

One looks like a big boar..is that meat any good?

and yes NY/FL I am a Christian..i know if I would steal I'd be disciplined of the Lord..I don't steal except for an occasional grape from WAlmart produce. [--;

Yes sir one was. A 130 lb. boar n one was 175 lb. boar...I usually quarter up the hams n shoulders then separate the ribs neck and backstraps...Usually any that are 120 lbs. or less I will just clean up and separate the neck n straps into meal size portions and use the ribs hams n shoulders for smokin/grillin...anything over that 120 mark I will send off to the butcher due to the meat sometimes bein more gamey or chewy n have em do Italian link sausage, pork steaks, ground, and stew meat with...I always wear gloves while cleaning em to help protect myself from any disease

Thx for the info about the hogs...My shotgun was shooting to the right { I have Gobbler sites on it} So I went to Tenoroc shooting range..I was elated that you can pattern your shotgun for FREE...I moved the the rear site a tad to the left.and fired at 20 yds BINGO..Super happy camper..you wouldn't believe the pattern..I was expecting a bird shot like patter ..I was wrong..I stuck a 2 inch orange bull's eye in the middle of a nwe poster board and got a perfect 12" diameter circle of shot..all 15 in a tight 12 inch circle..I'm using a modified choke. To preserve meat..it looks like a shot about 4inches to the right of the heart would be perfect.
