Babes in the woods

Last week while watching a food plot I watched a doe with her fawn for about 15 minutes. The fawn was so small he could walk under his mother without having to get down very far. Couldn't have been over a week old. Anybody else seeing anything similar?

I have seen newborn fawns in every month of the calendar. This is a sign that the buck/doe ratio is BADLY skewed !! Mature does going thru 3-4-5 cycles before getting bred; 6 month doe fawns getting bred, some of them cycling multiple times first. Need to kill more does in areas like these, but not always allowed. POLITICS STINKS OUT LOUD !!!!

i agree wingnut. in arkansas our suburbia biologist know how many deer we should take. i have seen more deer in the last week than i saw all fall. people not seeing deer said they are dead. b.s. deer are the most adapted creatures on earth . they have survived thousands of years .they are still adapting. nocternal in the fall.i was coming home and almost hit two last night . i think its going to get worse , low kill this year . they need to increase the limits next year.
