I saw a 4ft water mocasin in the green swamp a couple weeks ago. Snakes seem to be pretty bad out there

Yes sir..there was a man that got bit about 3 years ago..The antevenom bill from Watson Clinic was 500,000 dollars..his arm was swelled like a watermellon.

I didn't see a single one last year, maybe because it was so cold. I've seen 3 this year. Be careful, especially if you walk the roads, because the road gets a lot of direct sun and they like to lay there for warmth.

Have not seen a snake on my lease in glades county in over 6 years.

WHY? we are overrun with hogs. Hogs love to eat snakes.

One minute later he wasn't very happy..a big stick put him a sleep..he was to close to my stand for comfort.
