Richloam Baird Unit

I was lucky enough to get drawn for the gun hunt in Richloam this year. Ive never set foot in the Baird Unit but I have heard good things about it. I was wondering if anybody has hunted in there and what should I expect when I go and scout there. Meaning is it mainly swamps or a mix of swamps and pines? Any info would help me greatly.

Sorry I wish I could tell you more but only hunted there one time. Did see a couple of does and some turkeys but that was it. Did look pretty good some some good areas but I do remember the roads were really wet and swampy. Some spots we could not even go thru.

Ive hunted archery in there a few years back, lotta bayheads, but there are a few good oak hammocks in there.
