I hat thieves
We shot 2 yotes on opening day. My best friend shot 1 of them and a nice big doe. He dropped off the yote and doe at Hidden Pines processor in Madison county. He went back to pick up his meat and also the yote which was in the ice box, and found out that some common "POS" had stolen the yote. Hidden pines offered to give him free processing of the deer for the stolen yote. A nice offer but it doesn't replace the first yote he has ever seen and shot. To steal another mans bounty is as low as a human being can get.

I agree that thieves are the lowest form of scum on the earth, but what does putting a hat on them have to do with anything?
Relax, I'm just ribbing you for the spelling error in your title :) If you ever find out who did it, give them what for! |
Just curious, what would he do with the coyote?
|
Why on earth would someone want to steal a dead coyote?

Some counties in VA offer a bounty for killing yotes. I think Orange County does. Possibly Madison??

Colorado used to offer a bounty on them also a few years back. Not sure if thier still doing that though since I moved from there.

I believe it is between $50-$100.

Why did he leave the coyote in their ice box? I'm surprised they offered to process the deer for free, most places would probably say they're not responsible for it being taken.

He was keeping the yote on ice while he made arrangements with a taxidermist. The processor is a very nice person and a quality business. The processor even allows us to age a deer in his cooler early in the season if he is not that busy. The number 1 rule in business is customer satisafaction. Not a good business practice to tell paying customers to go pound sand and make glass. ![]() |
