Greenswamp!!!
 

Went out to the swamp for openin day of archery..all i can say is WOW!,didnt see no deer ,no hogs, no turkeys...but did see 12 cottonmouths...most ive ever seen in one day!:jaw:, I left at about 5pm outa 471 side, they had 3 deer(i beleive all does) and one turkey! A slow and very wet start to huntin season!:nonono2:

I was camping at RR side. Only one hog yesterday. That rain from friday and saturday morning was a nightmare. Only saw one dow too far for a clean kill. Be back Friday morning till Sunday.

I went out there today and walked around a bit. It is wet out there. Took out a pygmy rattler on my way out there. Saw 3 pigs but could not get in close.

yea i will be back out there next saturday, hopefully it will dry out a little...

I went out this past weekend also in another WMA. The full moon has really got hunting messed up. everyone I talked to didn't see much of anything. Next weekend should be alot better once they start feeding during the day again.

yea it does, i had seen a lot of "overnite" tracks around my spot...i know the animals are there just gota be there at the right time...
