What's up bro? Yeah, I am definitely ready for the fall to come. Didn't get one with my bow last year so I'm excited to get back out there. Been whacking a few groundhogs though and shooting the bow a bit + a little pond fishing so I'm trying to stay busy!

Ready, What are you talking about? I haven't quite yet. Well yea I have I just keep pushing replay in my head on all the screw ups I did last year. I have had a great ground Hog season 10 so far here is a pic of #8 I did not get a pic of #7 he made it back to he's hole with a big hole in his side. I will say this Ground Hogs are one tough animal. We have been clearing trails and looking for tree stand spots the past few weekend and plan to set a few hang ons this weekend. The season will be on us before you know it. I do hope the weather get better by then I cant do 80* in Oct .
If anyone one in the area needs a place to shoot send me a pm I have a nice little spot in my driveway to my garage you can get 10-35 yards. sorry ARCHERY ONLY. |
Rick.... where are you shooting those ground pigs at???
Rifle.. I am from King George, actually grew up in South Stafford myself. Where do you hunt at? |
Eng40spd, the Ground Hog are in NoVa.
I split my hunting up. Depending on what is open on Quantico If the area is close that i have been scouting I will go to some land we have in Richmond County. I do plan on spending a little more time in Richmond this season. Where do you hunt at. King George has some nice land, hard to access |
I've been doing the deer counts and thats gotten me fired up a tad....still too early for me to get overly excited....I did order a deer cart and I have started moving stands so I'm ready, but I know i'll get so much more excited as the days go by.

I have been shooting my bow for a couple of weeks now. I have also sprayed some waterproofing seal onto my blinds. Hung a new stand in NOVA along with placing out a trail cam over there. Hoping to put out some new stands at a farm in Culpepper and started getting in touch more with the guys on our lease in SW VA. Starting to get the hunting ITCH bad!!!
