hunting land between the lakes in Ky.
 

Does anyone know how the deer hunting is at land between the lakes on the KY side. Thinking about doing a hunt down there in 2010 and was wondering how the hunting was. Is it open during the normal gun season and archary season or are the special season date for LBL

It is open bowhunting from sep till jan. Gun and ML hunting is qouta hunt only, but chances of getting drawn are good. Hunting had declined a little but over the last few years it has made a comeback.... hope that helps some

Ya so i take it the quate gun hunts are the 2 day hunts. When do they draw the quate hunts

they take quotta apps the month of July, then notify you in the mail. Also check out the WMA's across the state. You can find info on these by going to KDFWR.state.ky.us that is the ky dept of fish and wildlife.

I will I know of a few nice places to hunt. I want to go to LWL but a 2 day hunt was alittle short of the 7 days i wanted. Though i could bow hunt the other days.

iv hunted the bottoms part of lbl where they have crops. think its around area 7 look that up on google earth.

lbl is pretty awesome bout anywhere
