from maine looking to shoot hogs
 

hi im from maine and have recently been doing a little research on hog hunting,, from what i gather texas is probley the best sounding. on some other forums ive heard that they are a nusense and most farmers would love to get rid of them, and would let about anybody shoot them, does anyone have this problem or have land and are willing to let some outta towner hunt it. Not really interested in paying the money to shoot something that it seems as though is thought of about like a rat, will definetily be doing something in the spring one way or the other but would like to do it without big guide fees or trophy fees (although most are reasonable). maybe i can help someone and get my hunting in for minimal cost, if it matters i have both bow and rifle and are very good with both.

if nothing else if there are any hog outfitters that see this and would like to chat or send me some info that would be great also.
