KY Firearms during Archery
According to the KDFWR website, as of 26 August, the department has changed its rules allowing individuals with concealed carry license to carry their personal defense firearm during archery, muzzleloading, etc...though, obviously, the hunter is not to use them to take deer, etc.
They have published a new page 3 to the hunting guide correcting the original publication... |

Same here ....always carried regardless of the rules. Your personal safety isnt up for debate.:fighting0007: |

You guys carry for fear of snakes or meth heads?
ps a local I talked to this week said he saw a giant just puttzing around the edge of a corn field behind his house. No telling where that deer lives, but if I wasn't 12 hours away I'd be getting after him. |

Both! or in S-E KY, people into mountain-side agriculture who rig their fields with trip wires and grenades...(while playing "Dueling Banjos"...LOL) |
Hey guys, I'm from Georgetown also. Most of my hunting is done on a farm on the Scott Owen line...and some occasional hunts on some WMA's (Kleber, Taylorsville) and in Western KY around Peabody (Muhlenburg Co.)

Trip wires and grenades? Come on. I've heard of coon dogs on a wire, but those meth heads aren't stable enough to set up grenades.
How bad is it dealing with the meth heads? Can't you call the law? |

How bad is it dealing with the meth heads? Can't you call the law? Ask federal census workers... While as a whole the place is very nice, there are areas where you protect yourself and ask questions later... |
