My freind from Missouri has been sending me lots of pictures like these..
My prinipal gave me a week off...so I'll be going to Missouri this year..

yup, missouri sure has some FINE bucks!

Long drive but awesome fellowship, beautiful country..and private property..
This is in the Ozarks..southeastern Missouri..

I also got an invite to the Blueridge Mountains in VA for the following week..I'm not buying shiners anymore..saving my money..;)

Thats what its all about...Getting a nice buck is just a gr8 bonus.

I was weary at first going up there..fact I was tempted on turning back..how wrong I was..This man is a very nice man and loves God.Hos wife is sweet as well as all his freinds.I got this 8 pointer 30 minutes after going in my stand..Sadly..it was the only buck shot..those deer hide real good during general gun season.Three bucks and a doe walked by Randy by he let them go in hopes I would get a deer..Great man..great friend..
After this one was shot a bigger one walked right up to my tree and snorted at me for a good minute..

Wow man thats a cool deal...looks like they got bucks up there that have a lotta potential with antler growth...GOOD LUCK on that trip, getcha a monster!.... i hope for an oppurtunity like that some day...but its Green Swamp and Croom until then...:happy0001:

Hey I hear ya,
90% of my hunting will be in the Green Swamp..my only problem there is when I find a good spot..someone else finds the same spot..that's a real heart breaker..

Chris good to hear from ya..and everyone else as well..I'm really shocked the principal gave me the time off..I'm going for it this year..

For the last 2 years I've had 2 opportunities to kill a buck to be enrolled..2007..I called in the biggest deer of my life in any state..with a "Can " call..I had my stand facing totally the wrong wat it was at least 190 pounds..a true monster...couldn't count the points and very long tines..I turned around quick with open sites he's mine..but with a scope I had no time..I 've since taken the scope off and replaced with tru glo sites..

2008 last year..saw many does..one morning I saw brown..big brown and shiny antlers..we both looked at each other and the deer was gone in 1/2 a second..like I said get one opportunity a year in the Green Swamp..
Both times my stand was facing the wrong way..
