Default Repost: Deer Hunting in SC 101.. Pls help

Greetings to all! This is my first post in this forum and hope you could help me:

I've just booked a flight for my 73 year old dad to visit his brother at South Carolina. It is their childhood dream to go deer hunting and finally they are not doing it come August 15.

Would just like to ask for recommendations on where I should book them for deer hunting.

any other suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!!

thanks in advance

Are you wanting to just take them to public land or were you looking for an outfitter?

Go to this site and search for specific outfitters...

Bostick Plantation is garbage! I've never been there and never will. There are more than a lot of really bad reviews about that place.

thank you for the replies.

yes, i am looking for an outfitter. i will definitely look at the links ^^ you provided me.

what do you think of blackwater plantation?

in this connection, during august 15th to september 15th, what are the chances that they make a kill? do outfitters have a guarantee on this?

and if they make a kill, how/where do they send it to process the deer for taxidermy?

Thanks in advance!

Default SC Hunt

You wont do any better then Blackwater, I have hunted there several years and they run an A+ operation. Stay as far, far away from Bostick as possible, you have a better chance at bagging a deer by flushing your money down the toilet then "hunting" there. Good luck.
