Default Site is up and results posted

Well, the site is up but I did not draw my muzzleloader permit. Got my first choice archery though. I have never been denied a permit within the past 5 years. I asm not impressed with the new system. Just hope nothing comes up during my archery hunt time or I will not have a permit to hunt at all this year.

If you haven't been denied in the past, you must be hunting where a lot of permits are issued. Where I hunt they only let 40 hunters on 9,291 acres. I was denied for archery and hog, but I did get my second choice for firearm season. I'm still stoked, I just bought a new Marlin 336 Stainless Steel and at least now I know that I'll be hunting with it this year. Don't forget that you can't give your permit to anyone else, they're now non-transferable. BUT, come august 1st you can apply for a companion license for a friend, he'll have to hunt with you and you have to share one bag limit, but it's better than nothing.
