RE: Relocating to Baytown?
MD Hunter Alert, man, you sure are coming a long ways aren' t ya?lol What is bringing you here? You are talking about Baytown, Texas right? I live about an hour and half to two hours away from Baytown. Don' t know that much about it exept you won' t be living that far from the coast. Lots and lots of good fishing holes down that way. I could help you out with that. I also help run a personal service in Houston. If you are looking for work, let me know what you do. Take care.

my wife now says that if we move to the Houston area she is definitely gonna have a new set of luggage if she sees one of those near where we move:D i saw at least 4 pairs of boots being towed.:D |
RE: Relocating to Baytown?
Schools....Deer Park, one of THE best in the Houston area, and real close to Baytown. It' ll run you around $50.00 or so to hunt and fish any and all things..mind you this does not include the public hunt lands(another $40) Land, Sea and Air!

RE: Relocating to Baytown?
Grew up in Baytown and my parents still live there. If you have to live there, Barbers Hill is the best school district, is small, and new. Virtually all of the teachers and admin people have gone there from Baytown (Goose Creek Independent School District). Lots of fishing and hunting opportunities relatively close. Barbers Hill is also in Chambers Co. and not Harris Co. which is the county Baytown is in. Chambers Co. has much cheaper taxes and looser restrictions on vehicle inspection requirements. It has a small town mentality and alot of people have lived there a long time and know each other. Need to know anything else let me know. Good luck.
