AP Hill Hunting
I've been hunting at AP Hill since I was 15. We make the trip there every year for the first week of gun season. Lucky for me my dad is on the CA list or the SA list as it's now called. There are some monsters that live on that base. The biggest buck I've every seen was about 8 years ago close to CA 19. It's not uncommon for our hunting group to kill at least 4 bucks per week that will score 120 or better.
Any help would be great I'm headed down there next week to hunt.

Holy thread resurrection, Batman! Ha ha ha...
I haven't been to AP Hill in years. Hell, I haven't hunted in VA in years either. Sorry to be a naysayer, but from what I remember about AP Hill was, it kind of was a "hit or miss" type of area. Be at the right area that is open, and you hit the mother lode of deer! Or, as I have experienced, you strike out and don't see a darn thing at all, get frustrated, try to ask for a new TA and get turned down. You then get more frustrated, pack up, go home, and quit from all the BS.
Sorry... Just sort of, "tellin' it like it is..."

Holy legacy post Ricky! Good to see everyone still around. I haven't logged on to here in years. Been hunting hard, I've expanded my hunting portfolio to out of state DIY hunts. Which make it super interesting and challenging. I've ran out of room on my walls so I had to put two mounts up in my office. You guys should go hunt Pickett some time. They pull some hogs out there every year. Th dove hunting is great down there too.
