Florida Turky Hunting
 
I am coming to Florida this March and April and will be staying in the Kissimmee and Davenport area. Can anyone help me out with finding locations to turkey hunt(State land) in this area? Also i am from Pa. is there a draw for turkeys or can i just buy alicense over the counter? Thx...

You can get a license over the counter. Check the WMA that you want to hunt though. Some you can just go and others you need to draw.

My buddy does well going to fisheating creek. He connects every year there.

In our area of NW FL the turkey population has exploded over the last 5 years. A few years ago it was unusual to see turkeys and now they are everywhere. I didn't know until recently there is a winter turkey season about a month long.

Good thing about Florida is that you can hunt Eastern turkeys in teh panhandle and Osceolas in the North Central to Southern Florida.
