I was wondering if any1 had any tips for someone who is starting a hunting club from scratch?

yeah get people to sign legal documents and held liable sheets, that way you and the landlord are not held liable for anything anyone does on your land. Also, make the hunters noterize them too, better way to cover your butt.

Also, get a lease for more then just a year. try to get it for at least 5yrs paying the landowner every year.

And make sure you get people in the club that are going to follow the rules and the beliefs of the land you hunt. If you want antler restirctions and so forth, make sure the people you bring in are for that, and make them sign a document that they understand the rules of the property and the goals of the property.

You want people to hunt the property with same goals as you.

I would almost say don't do it, but I enjoy hunting with clubs. Keep the number of hunters as low as possible. You don't say how many acres you have or what kind of hunting will be done. Remember the added expenses of a club such as food plot cost. Be specific about the number of guest or guest days and the limitations of family members hunting.. Really need more info.
