where is a good place to get ariel/topo maps besides google earth? thanks.

They have maps at the 471 gate I understand for 5.00 ..you will need to ask the gate keeper when the man drives in to sell them..

I understand they are very good maps with lots of old historic stuff on them..I plan to get them but I hate driving down that washboard road ..LOL

Rockridge is very bumpy...with big ole pot holes in the middle..I still do 40 MPH though...

Microsoft virtual earth is the best public aerial mapping system out there currently. Google is doing some serious updates, and just launched a new satelite but it wont be operational for a few months.

Yahoo "maps" has some pretty good, satellite images, kind of tuff to search for spots in the swamp, but you can do it though, thats what i use...

..If your hunting near the riverGoogle stinks..If your huntng bay heads and palmetto fields..it's wonderful . I don't hunt Tanic but here is a small segment of Tanic..I can see alot by using this map..
