CHANGES IN THE WORKPLACE
As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama officially becomes president-elect, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:
1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are under-achieving a "fair shake".
2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst you. This will help those who are "too busy for overtime" to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.
3. All top management will now be referred to as "the government." We will not participate in this "pooling" experience because the law doesn't apply to us.
4. The "government" will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging its workers to continue to work hard "for the good of all".
5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it's "good to spread the wealth around". Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more "patriotic".
6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don't feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free food stamps, and he'll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can't pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you might even get a free flat screen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn't all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?)!!!
If for any reason you are not happy with the new policies, you may want to rethink your vote on November 4th.

HEY! I really like Obama. Barak is eloquent, good looking and a great speaker. My only complaint is that he is on the wrong side of virtually every issue. I mean I don't agree with him on anything that I am aware of. I do like the guy's personality, though.

The fact that someone like Obama is even allowed to enter our presidential race much less have a lead is a sad statement for this country and our fellow citizens. Completely against Obama here. COMPLETELY.

That being said, other than abortion, gun control and the alleged "socialism" what do you disagree with Bowman100 and, also, how does McCain's plan counteract what Obama has set forth? This should be fun;)

I put my TV in the closet after the Tampa Rays final out..and we are also canceling our newspaper.subscription.I do not want Obama in my household in the papers or TV..It grieves my soul that we have come this low...Our nation truly has turned it's back on God..to vote a man in that

Again, Obama does not support same sex marriages and he is pro-choice not pro-abortion. Also, why worry about something so trivial as putting one's hand over their hard during the pledge? Many people are brought up and taught that putting one's hands behind their back is just as respectful as putting the hand over the heart. Why should we question someone because they show respect to the flag in a different way than we do?

It's not like the man is Hitler like some people seem to make him out to be. Failing to rally behind a POTUS just because he doesn't share our exact same views is, for lack of better words, unpatriotic. He is not proposing anything nor has he done anything that is anything but findamentally democratic.

Obama got my vote.you dont want an abortion dont get one but if you do want one atleast you could have the freedom to get one.are guns illegal in Illinios my guns were never taken away with clinton like many said they would be . gays have been around a long time not one has ever hurt me'i chose not to be gay because thats me i find a womans body attractive.

Just to let clear things of redistribution of wealth is not adding to what is going on now, he wrongly spoke. Also, those who are completely against redistribution of wealth on any level are also opposed to college scholarships/loans/etc (this money doesn't grow on trees). When Ayers was a "terrorist" Obama was 8 years old, enough said. He wants to get out of the war because there is no reason to be there! To honor those dead you think we should just keep shipping troops over there and letting them die for a cause that is, even amongst some troops, unknown? Finally, unless you're making 250k you're not going to be having higher taxes, a tax break if anything. And, let us not forget that our civilization is paid for by taxes, its not like they go into politcians pockets.:)

Well, redistribution of wealth and socialism are the same thing essentially, so I cleared that up. Obama has stated again and again that he won't take law abiding citizens guns, so thats out the doors. And, pro-choice (I've said it 1000 times) does not mean you condone the act of abortion itsself, just the right of a woman to choose, so unless you've spoken with Obama personally its hard to say he supports abortion:D

Anyways, I think you proved my point my merely siting a mccain website and rabbling of the latest fox news headlines. but, we'll all know soon enough

x2, my opinion might not be right everytime but we had record numbers of people voting who don't understand how government works, they just voted to make history. The president elect isTHE most left senator in office and his running mate is the third most left senator. I'd be just afraid of the far right. Jimmy Carter had good intentions also but our economy doesn't run on good intention. Who remembers mortgage interest rates at over 16% and double digit unemployment, that's what happens when you put the "rich" in the 70% tax bracket. OK, no more soap box, I have to go to work now and do what Joe Biden says is my patriotic duty and pay more taxes.

BEWARE CHARISMATIC MEN WHO PREACH 'CHANGE'

EACH YEAR I GET TO CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY TWICE. ON JUNE 30th, I CELEBRATE MY DAY AND ON JULY 4th, I CELEBRATE AMERICA'S INDEPENDENCE.

THIS YEAR IS VERY SPECIAL TO ME BECAUSE I GET TO CELEBRATE MY 40th YEAR OF INDEPENDENCE. ON JUNE 30, 1968, I ESCAPED COMMUNIST CUBA AND A FEW MONTHS LATER; I WAS IN THE UNITED STATES TO STAY! THAT I HAPPENED TO ARRIVE IN RICHMOND ON THANKSGIVING DAY IS JUST PART OF THE STORY, BUT I DIGRESS.

I'VE THOUGHT A LOT ABOUT THE ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAR. THE ELECTION YEAR RHETORIC HAS MADE ME THINK A LOT ABOUT CUBA AND WHAT TRANSPIRED THERE.

IN THE LATE 1950'S, MOST CUBANS THOUGHT THAT CUBA NEEDED A CHANGE, AND THEY WERE RIGHT.

SO WHEN A YOUNG LEADER CAME ALONG, EVERY CUBAN WAS AT LEAST RECEPTIVE.

WHEN THE YOUNG LEADER SPOKE ELOQUENTLY AND PASSIONATELY AND DENOUNCED THE OLD SYSTEM, THE PRESS FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM.

THEY NEVER QUESTIONED WHO HIS FRIENDS WERE OR WHAT HE REALLY BELIEVED IN.

WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD HELP THE FARMERS AND THE POOR AND BRING FREE MEDICAL CARE AND EDUCATION TO ALL, EVERYONE FOLLOWED.

WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BRING JUSTICE AND EQUALITY TO ALL, EVERYONE SAID, "PRAISE THE LORD."

AND WHEN THE YOUNG LEADER SAID, "I WILL BE FOR CHANGE AND I'LL BRING YOU CHANGE," EVERYONE YELLED, "VIVA FIDEL!"

BUT NOBODY ASKED ABOUT THE CHANGE.

SO:

*BY THE TIME THE EXECUTIONER'S GUNS WENT SILENT, THE PEOPLE'S GUNS HAD BEEN TAKEN AWAY.

*BY THE TIME EVERYONE WAS EQUAL, THEY WERE EQUALLY POOR, HUNGRY, AND OPPRESSED.

*BY THE TIME EVERYONE RECEIVED THEIR FREE EDUCATION, IT WAS WORTH NOTHING.

*BY THE TIME THE PRESS NOTICED, IT WAS TOO LATE, BECAUSE THEY WERE NOW WORKING FOR HIM.

*BY THE TIME THE CHANGE WAS FINALLY IMPLEMENTED, CUBA HAD BEEN KNOCKED DOWN A COUPLE OF NOTCHES TO A THIRD-WORLD STATUS.

*BY THE TIME THE CHANGE WAS OVER, MORE THAN A MILLION PEOPLE HAD TAKEN TO BOATS, RAFTS, AND INNER TUBES.

well unfortunatly 96% or something like that of minorities voted for him and most of younger college kids who don't really understand the "real world" voted for this guy. The only thing we can do now is hope and pray he can pull the rabbit out of his hat and do a good job for our country!? Doubt it but can hope.
