Oklahoma hunting

I hunt in southern Creek County next to Tulsa County. My partner and I have been seeing lots of does and a few small bucks but nothing shootable yet. I am thinking we may still be a few days before we start to see the shooters out roaming around. What have you guys been seeing?

RE: Oklahoma hunting

I hunt up in northern osage county on about 2000 acres and ive gotten calls the past two days from our ranch hand who has seen three monsters since yesterday morning. Two of bucks were running an old doe around a hay meadow about 9 o'clock this morning both of which he said would easily go in the low to mid 150s. Saw one shooter last weekend at about 11:30 sunday morning but that was about it. Lord willing and the creeks dont rise ill be headed northbound 35 friday morning from dallas to get back in the mix of things for a few days.

RE: Oklahoma hunting

Good luck to you. I just received a report from a friend that has seen a couple of nice shooters chasing does so it appears things are heating up in Oklahoma. I guess it is time to hit the woods as much as I can.
