Gobblin in Eastern NC

Went to scout near Tarboro in Edgecombe County on Saturday and heard a couple gobblers firing back at crows. I can' t wait til April 12. Has anyone else been hearing anything in Eastern NC?

I went scouting monday morning near Weldon and heard 3 seperate birds. Also saw a tom strutting with hens

well i am more in central to western nc but i thought that i would join in chit chat. i have been scouting twice now and the first time i was standing in the path and had about ten birds with a couple gobblers fly right down on top of me. and then this past saturday i was walking down the path and a big ol gobbler flew right out across the path in front of me. i hope that on sat the only thing flyin is my #6 shot
