Help New to Florida Hunting

Hi Guys
I moved to Fl 6 months ago from the great deer hunting state of Wisconsin. Normally at this time of year I'm shooting my bow hanging stands and getting ready for the season. Now I'm stuck in Vero Beach. I don't have a place to hunt or a clue where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey Mike, welcome to Florida. Go to www.myfwc.com and look for info on wildlife management areas. There are quota permits that you have to apply for back in June for most areas but not all. Bull Creek WMA is just west of Melbourne and permits are on a first come basis after the first two days of the season. It's almost 24,000 acres big and they allow 300 hunters a day.
