Hey millerhunter I was just curious if you had posted these questions on the florida sportsman forum? It sucks that none of your permits were pulled but atleast you will get preference next year. But anyways if you havent already give the florida sportsman forum a try. As far as leases I cant help you there. I was in your same situation last year in that I didnt have any permits. If you are interested I can tell you about tiger bay and bull creek if send me a pm.

sounds like a nice club but $2,750.00 a year is awfull steep. good luck in filling those spots, you can lease land pretty much anywhere in the U.S. for that price.

I like the fact that they do the food plots and supplemental feeding but No doe harvest????????????????Thats just stupid....either they have no deer and want to get the population bigger or they don't know anything about Deer Management.
JMHO;)........70 members on 4,000 acres is good but what about immediate family...that could be possibly an outrageous # of hunters

HnM, the clubI was a member of in North FL was owned by Protor & Gamble. We had 70 members and it was under 2,000 acres, but it ajoined to (San Pedro WMA which was 50,000+ acres, No Dogs & No Camping). Wealso had a NODOE harvestwith a $500 fine if one was killed.

We had a private campground with Travel Trailer hook-ups. During hunting season, family members had to stay at the camp ground. I rented space for my TravelTrailer across the roadfrom one of 3 entrances to the lease. This was back in 1997,1998, 1999...I started with dues of$500 per year and got out at $800....Wonder what it is now?:D

To each their own.......but i'll join a lease where they kill does too......
I didn't read where family members had to stay at camp on this one.....that would be ok if they did that but i know too many families that the wife, husband and kids all hunt...add those up and it could be pretty pressured land.....
