i live around the cumberland plateau and to be honest i haven't seen many turks yet. . . . anyone else from tennessee been doin more good than me? finally i saw 7 toms friday but other than that its been sparse compared to years past as far as pre season spotting. the TWRA says its supposed to be a better year than ever before but i'm reserving judgement on that one. . . bb

i hunt near savannah, tn (8 miles from pickwick), a long way from the cumberland, and we had 32 birds in one field last week. 5 gobblers and a few jakes, the rest hens. I'm countin' the days. Luckily I get a little early dose, my buddy hunts in MS and their season stared yesterday. So we'll be down there wed. and thurs.
