You mean a hunt actually in Europe? Or caught and released feral pigs in the states?

These are pure european boars released to grow on a preserve. Not feral hogs .good looking trophy boars.

$400 would be a good deal. I know most places I have looked at charge $500-$600 for that type of hunt.

I have sent you a private message. I put european / russian because we have guys who mistaken feral type hogs with European. I know of 4 places in theU.S that charges $2000 for the same hunt. The price will be going up on all hog hunts over the next year .Well on preserves anyway.

A lot depends on your accomodations. Unless you are offering a high fence hunt (which you can charge a higher price for, yet will largely be looked down upon by most folks on the forum) its going to be hard to get people to pay big money for a one day hunt, as your success rates on trophy pigs can be low. A high fence situation is a different matter of course.

Personally, I used to get paid to kill them, so I suppose I'm a bad example. We used to live catch them and sell to operations like yours. They charged anywhere from $400-600 a day depending on accomodations, with a minimum three day hunt. I considered a two day weekend hunt in Texas for feral pigs to get the girlfriend started with a bow on game last fall for $250 all inclusive.

I don't know of anywhere in the US that charges $2000 for a one day pig hunt. Not saying it doesn't exist, but that seems mighty steep to me.

I think there's high fenceoperations in NC & TN that charge $500-$600 for 1-2 days for Russian boar. $2000 would almost get you a elk, stag, or buffalo. I don't think I have ever seen a place that charges $2000 for a boar hunt, unless it would be for a combo hunt.

It is a high fence operation or at lease 48 inch fence . See there is a difference in the two animals. Feral hogs and then Pure european. Most outfitters call feral hogs russian hogs .When the truth is know .There is really no such thing as russian hog but that is the name that is associated with a feral hog that has the european Genetics and you will not catch any european hogs in the wild in the U.S . you will only catch feral hogs that have a good percentage of european in there blood. There are around 5 or 6 places in the U.S that offers the Pure European wild boars and they are high fence. Texas has 1 or 2 high fence but they have feral hogs with them and 2 up north that offers pure europeans and Ioffer them here in the Georgia. The ones in Texas charge $2000 up to $2650 for the pure animals and the guys up north charge around $1650 and up and one guy in Missouri charges up to $2900 .And all you get to shoot is One trophy European boar for that price. All the other places in tennessee have feral hogs that favor the look of the european boar. .And what they do is buy a pure european hog an cross breed it with a domectic hog and take the better looking piglets and then breed it .So They are slowly loosing there pure genetics everytime they breed.BUt sometimes you get a good looking boar out of that process. Years ago I didnt think that there was a difference but there really is .It is takeing your hog hunting to a higher level .Once you hunt one of these big boars then you will see what the difference really is. thanks guys for your time.

why are you asking us what we'd pay when you already know what everyone else is charging? just undercut the competiton by a few hundred bucks and stop spamming every outdoor/hunting forum for free advertisement.

This is a hunting forum .Where anyone can ask question or just talk about hunting. Im not using this for advertisment. I have plenty of that. I felt It would be interesting to get all hunters opinions on this subject since you see guys complaining so much on bad hunting experiences and what they were expecting on a hunt they went on. And the amount they spend on hunting.Im not trying to get any hunters doing this .I just wanted everyones thoughts. You dont have to respond to the questions if you dont want to .I know how to run a business I like to see what each hunter is interested in.
