In NC you cant find a "real" wild hog hunt. There are a preserve or two around. In Hickory NC, you have Chestnut Hunting Lodge. www.chestnuthuntinglodge.com. I have a read a review or two on this place. You can choose several types of animals including wild boar. ( goat, ram, deer, turkey) some have gave it great reviews. No idea myself. I guess as it says :no kill-no pay. 828-632-3916.

Now SC has severL EXCELLENT wild hog hunting lodges. Buck Run @ about 900 dollars 3 day hunt unlimited kill. They are outside Charleston SC. Estill SC. They have a web-site. search Buck Run Hunting Lodge.

Hope this helps.

You can find true wild free range hogs in NC. I went with Buffalo Creek Outfitters in Feb. Had a great time. Killed my first hog
