Central VA rabbit hunt
 

We hunted in Central VA the day before yesterday and had a blast. The dogs ran great, pretty much stroking every rabbit except one. My 10 mo. old pup (red collar) is really coming along well and did a great job, pulling a couple checks on the older dogs. Here's a pic at the end of the day, note the yellow collar dog lickin' her chops!:

Sounds like lots of fun. My dad use to tell me about the good 'ol days of hunting rabbits with beagles in south Georgia. I would love to have some beagles to hunt rabbits, i just have so many deerdogs at the time. I love to hear a pack of beagles run, it will give a doghunter goosebumps!
