Just moved to Gainesville Fl, from Northern Michigan
 

Where the heck can i get started, I noticed i can bag more then 2 deer a season? do i need anterless permits for does, im not normally a doe hunter or a small buck hunter, i might much rather get started hog hunting but im also inexperienced at that, im assuming day time feeder and good land are the most imprtant thing, i brought almost all my gear down here when i moved, im just hopin i get a chance to use it anything would help, and i also know nobody in the area that is a dedicated hunter, but im loving the area, just dont know where to start lookin, help!

go to myfwc.com and on public land yes you need a doe permit, on private you dont. if you go hog hunting be careful they can charge, my uncle has been treed by them a few times. mallory swamp, lower swuanne (not spelled right) are some good places and try finding out about local hunting clubs there is alot of em around. good luck
