VA hunters
Well fellow VA hunters, I am heading home to Charlottesville, VA for thanksgiving break for the entire week (11/18-11/25) unfortunately I do not have any land to hunt. I am embarassed to be coming on here asking for some place to hunt, but if any of you have property in the area that can be hunted, please let me know.

That's right, the GWJNF are 1.3 million acres in VA if I remember correctly. There are a few WMAs nearby also (weekdays would be best since WMAs are hunted harder per sq/ mile than the national forest.)

bass---I know it is like 1 hour or so,,,but you can hunt on Quantico. Easy passes to get..watch a 30 min video and there you go...you are out hunting on some good property. You can call the game check at 703-784-5523 if you have any questions. I will be out there hunting Monday-Wed next week if you need any assistance. Let me know.

in charlottsville you are one hr. away from rapidan wildlife mangagement area, jame river WMA also.

How is RapidanWMA? Last time I was there, theirwere alot ofdogs running for bears. Saw only one small does over three-day period?
