Is anyone familiar with Buffalo Creek Guide service in Bertie and Sampson county NC or Bostick Plantation near Estill, SC? I am trying to decide which one to with for an upcomin hog hunt.

I'm not familiar with those 2 but I have been to Rick Grubb's 'Waccamaw Hunting Lodge"

He is located in Hemingway,S.C. which isover nearMyrtle Beach.
I know of some guys who went to an outfitter in N.C. and were very disapointer. It was a guaranteekill and the guides just released the hogs from a barn and ran them past the hunters on tree stands. They said they could see the barn and the fences from there stands. They were all done with the 2 day hunt in 2 hours.
Rick's hunt is not a guarantee kill, you will be at the mercy of the hogs.
It is a true "free ranging" hunt.

I have heard alot of bad things about Bostick about it being way over hunted. I would be very wary of that place. I read alot of bad reviews about it.I have hunted at Blackwater Hunting Services which is is near there2 times and am going back in 3 weeks. Of course, they are only deer hunts. But if you are looking for a quality place to deer hunt in the low country, I would highly recommend them. They also advertise on this site. If you want to know more abouth them, let me know.

Thanks for the feedback...we ended up booking with Buffalo Creek Guide service in Sampson County NC. The main reason because it was the closest free ranging hog outfitter. It was $400 a day with lodging, meals, and meat processing included. One hog per day, no license required.
