Just Wanted To See If Anyone Had Any luck LAst Year At Quantico
I Passed Up Couple Nice Buck's And Shot Nice Doe With My Bow And Shot Nice Buck In Gun Season . Was Wondering If Anyone Had Any Info On Whats Been Up With Quantico Deer It Was Ruff Last Year To Even See Any Deer Im 19 can drive getting into hunting very serious i use scent blocker and hoyt bow and use cuddeback cameras to find some nice bucks im looking for them big ones in quantico which i know are there so if anyone got any info please let me know

Back in 83 when I was stationed there, theUSMC used to let citezens hunt on the bace, you might enquier about it. I dont know how the deer population is there now, but back then even the golfers were complaining about them. That year I was there I shot two does, that was the best chow that bace served ever. Anyway, they have the property sectioned off into blocks, the morning you go in you get a permit for a section and go hunt it. Back then all you needed to do was go to a safety breifing about a week befor the season starts, then after that you could go in and look around and scout out the area.

There are A LOT of deer on Quantico, at least there were a few years back when we hunted there. Did a lot of rabbit, turkey,& duck hunting there also and there is a good population of everything listed on Quanticos 47,000 acres. Shoot me a PM and I'll tell you a couple good deer spots if you return the favor and tell me where you see rabbits.
