Hey guys

Im headed down to Love Valley on saturday morning to try and take a hog or two. Ive never hunted this area and Im looking for some pointers. Thanks for any info.

how was your trip,never been there but its near hickory creek i sand bass fish there and have seen hogs and some rootin up places.good luck.

It was tough. The area was extremely flooded and most places we would sink up to our knees in mud. Plus if we stopped walking we would be swarmed by mosquitoes, 100's of them. We did see quite a bit of hog sign in the area, but didnt see any hogs. It was extremely difficult to walk quietly in all that mud, but then there was no way we could set up and wait for the hogs with all of the mosquitoes.Either way we didnt stand much of a chance. We may try again later in the summer.
