anybody hunt noxubee refuge in ms?

i think it's about 30 minutes from my apartment in starkville which is a lot closer than my hunting grounds are my parents' house.

looking for a mentor/advice more or less.

I've hunted Tombigbee?sp? which is nearby. It's ok. THe national forest around Jackson and east of Natchez is better in my experience.

I spent a lot of time on "the refuge" when I was in college. The deer hunting is ok but the fishing was great. I liked Bluff Lake the best. Also really good squirrel hunting.
