Hunt Club currently with small membership is forming an LLC to sell shares with the sole purpose of purchasing hunting and recreational land for private use of its members in Central Virginia. How many acres are there? How many members. Are there any size restrictions(dont shoot the young bucks if you do 500.00 fine ect.)

Currently the club hunts approximately 400+ acres. We are looking to add an additional 434 and expand the membership to about 12-15 members. We have access to land that should cost in the neighborhood of$500000 with 28 year old timber still standing. We are an ethical hunt club, we do not currently have any restrictions on the size of a deer to be taken. We utilize dogs for 2/3 of the day and still hunt the remainder. We all have children that we are trying to teach hunting skills to. Access to the property is easy and we work a few days per year to do road maintaince and food plot planting. I would estimate that a share in the LLC should cost between 20-30,000 if we are to keep the club small in size. I hope that this will help to provide you with some details. We currently have 7-9 interested parties.
