Golf Cart
Does anyone use/have an electric golf cart? I just bought a 94 Ezgo and I've upgraded the controller to a 400ampand I'm fixing to put a bigger motor in it. Before I put the motor in I want to put some bigger wires on it. Wondering if anyone else has upgraded their wires and if so where did they get it? I'm looking for some 2ga welding cable(The cable from machine to the clamp on a stick/arc welder) is what I'm looking for.
Thanks. |
RE: Golf Cart
We did for a couple of years becuase they make like no noice our smell really. It is a good thing to use if you can really use it and like are not going to get stuck our somthing.

RE: Golf Cart
Trust me. When I get done with this thingthe only reasonitwillget stuckis be b/c I want it stuck. It will already snatch my Polaris around as it is. As soon as I get my new motor installed it will be a beast! Just need the new wires before I melt the stock ones down!

RE: Golf Cart
Do you have any pictures of it? I would like to buy a g/c to use on our ranch for hunting. No doubt they are substantially quieter that an atv.

RE: Golf Cart
It's still a work in progress. I just had installed the lift in this pic. I've got a top and I'm building my brush guard/winch mount. It is beast and has plenty of power.Like I said before the only reason this thing will get stuck is b/c I want it stuck. Don't get me wrong a 4whlr will go more places but this thing is 1million times quieter than my 4whlr ever thought about being.

RE: Golf Cart
Thats awesome. What would it cost to buy an older golf cart and fix it up like that. Does it take any experience to do it, or is it fairly easy?
