MS & TN Hunters Question?
I am stationed at the U.S. Coast Guard base in Memphis, TNon the MS River. I travel home to hunt in AL which is few and far between. I would like to find a hunt club or just somewhere to hunt that is not so far away from my current unit. I have to take leave just to hunt otherwise. I was thinking like northern MS or something like that, however I do not have any connections in this area can anyone help me out on finding a place to hunt or someone who knows a lot about hunting areasin the midsouth? Thanks in advance for any help on this.

RE: MS & TN Hunters Question?
I live in Columbus,MS and I hunt 1000s of acres of public land. Corps of Engineers land is up and down the river here. They plant hundreds of foodplots and take great care of the wildlife. It is an excellent place to hunt.

RE: MS & TN Hunters Question?
Davy Jones, I'll be in almost your same predicament soon. My wife and I are in the process of relocating to the same area you are stationed in.N.W Mississippi close to Southaven MS.We are still looking for a house. We have plans to buyenough acreage so we have our own hunting land.Until then we will be looking for public land also.I was going to post the same question you did.Hopefully we will find something before next season.
