Yea I know they seem to know!!!I sat in my tree syand from two till dark and only saw 7 big does I shot The bigest one.

I think the rut is in full swing, that's why you are not seeing any bucks. They are holed up with a doe in the thick stuff. When you are seeing a lot of bucks, they're in the chasing phase (pre-rut).

I hunt near the VA border and having the same issue.

I agree with Hawgnman. I have hunted from N.VA to the Mountains and it is the same thing. I think they are close to being done breeding and the 2nd week of Dec. there will be a small 2nd chase phase of a couple of days. All of the chasing and bucks in the daylight seemed to be in the last 2 weeks of October. It seems like we only have a full on classic rut about every 4 or 5 years here in VA.
