What a weekend!!!!
 

Folks the deer were moving this weekend! saturday morning i saw three while getting in the stand . then they just kept coming i saw 18 does and yearlings before 7:45! At 7:45 a very nice 7 pt with a 17"inside spread comes out to check the singles pasture! Good rack just didnt have that fourth point on his left side. . big deer so i after watching him for five minutes i put him down with a 25-05.
get him undressed and on ice . and i go back for the afternoon. didnt see but four.
Sunday morning . saw 1 does at 6:30!

Then the at 8:00 the dinner bell rang . between 8 and 11 i saw deer after deer i stopped counting at 35 i would say 50 in all to guess.
only two bucks a four and a spike.
almost all were young does with yearlings . most had two yearlings.
so many does!good testiment to the AG&F city slicker biologist management practice of only taking four deer in the southern part of the state!
I really didnt want another deer to clean so i just watched. i saw alot of deer maybe next weekend they will do the same. my boy will on that stand saturday morning before daylight ready to reduce the doe population. and i may have a cousins boy on a another stand close to take a few! i want to do my part to manage these does you know
