VA beaglers?
 

Anyone go out today? This was the 1st muzzleloader opener a.m. I missed but it was for a good cause. I ran 4 of my dogs and my son and I shot 9 rabbits. Dogs did more than their part and our shooting wasn't too bad either. It was nice to see a year of hard work, training, and running beagles during the offseason really pay off this a.m. I've spent a lot of time and $$$ and it really showed. Can't wait till Monday!

Congrats on the good running.. I bet smelling was awsome this morning.. if it hadnt been opening day of smoke pole I would have been in the woods with some beagles myself... I guess it wasnt two bad today though... I let two shooter buck by our managment standards walk and I harvested two of the non horned critters today... nothing like tenderloin in the freezer!!!

Where do you run at? I might have a place for you to run some after deer season goes out.. or maybe during the week during deer season depending on who is hunting...

Also If you would like you and your boy are more than welcome to come hunt with us during deer season a day or two as my guests... let me know I will probably hunt every day since I just got layed off... nothing like getting paid (unemployment) to hunt every day for the entire season lmao

LoL Justin you got tenderlions when I had to let two deer walk today, one Spike that was real pretty in my scope and one Six pt. the youngster missed after I allowed him to walk. Management rules[:@]no meat in my freezer..[:'(]

Any way, Cool I have several blue tic beagles, I plan on running them in Jan. at the club house. I have 4 that I sold being picked up this week from my brother in SC. They are of field champion blood lines with papers so Join myself and Eng at the club for a hunt this season.

I'd love to hook up w/ you guys and run some rabbits. I run a med. fast/upper med. speed beagle, what about you guys? What bloodlines do you run? I've got some Gay Baker, Branko, Indian Hills, Weir Creek, Hokie High, Little Man, & Shake in my kennels. I own FC Deatons Bo and all of my dogs have at least one FC as their parent, one isdual FC sired. I run mostly in Prince William, Faquier, and Orange Co. We're taking a 5 day deer/rabbit trip to Blacksburg this week, we've got 9 farms lined up that have tons of rabbits, so I'm planning on running the dogs pretty hard this week. Lets keep in touch and hook up for a little deer hunting and rabbit hunting this season.

I do not own any rabbit beagles at the moment.. I had a branko top and bottom all the way back paperd gyp that I had a few years ago.. she was just old enough to start breaking when me and the girlI was datingsplit up and she ended up with the gyp I never win lol

All I have now is deer dogs.. beagles, hounds and bird dogs... I would love for you and your boy to come down and hunt with us some this year..

I should be hunting alot seeing as I got layed off on Thursday.. it sucks but I guess it isnt too bad considering I filled out the paper work on thursday afternoon and got my stuff back in the mail yesterday from the unemployment office..looks like I will be geeting paid to hunt for the next 26 weeks lmao... its gonna be rough I tell you.. its not a huge amount of money but I have it figured out.. I can pay my bills put and have money left over to fill my truck up 4 times a week, buy vitals for the woods and still have money left over !!!

At first I was gonna go find something else until spring when work picks back up but you know what I have busted my ass since I started working with no real vacation of any kind.. I mean a long weekend here and a week every few years or so... so I am gonna relax and enjoy the fruits of my labor some this year lol

As far as the land we have a couple of Farms in King George that have some rabbits on them.. and then we have the 1450 acres in the northern neck (Richmond Co) that we leased this year that looks like it should be full of rabbits... plus I am sure I can get permission to rabbit hunt a handful of other places as well...

Shoot me a email and I will give you my number and we can get together and do some deer hunting then in Jan we can hit the rabbits again!!

You guys been out rabbit hunting at all? We've been 5 times and bagged 41. The kill amount is decent, but haven't gotten out nearly as much as I would have liked due to just buying a new house last month.
